PND maker TomTom and Accor, the largest European hotel group, have set up a partnership so that drivers will find an “add to TomTom” button on web pages of the hotel group to directly download their address and other relevant information to their TomTom devices.
The group currently has 2,400 hotels in Europe and 4,150 globally, among the following brands: Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Suite hotel, Ibis, All Seasons, Etap Hôtel and hotel F1. Accorhotels.com, the online reservation web portal has 5 million unique visitors per month. From this portal TomTom owners will be able to download Points of Interest (POI) listings ranging from a single hotel to all hotel locations offered by the group.
